Enmax 2026 Projects
Ward 8 2026 Projects
Q1: January 1 – March 31
During the first quarter of the year, ENMAX has been working on several projects across Ward 8 to improve Calgary's electrical system. These projects are focused on upgrading electrical infrastructure, making the system more reliable, and responding to customer and community needs.
Some of this work is happening in downtown and nearby neighbourhoods. ENMAX is upgrading substations, power lines, and other electrical equipment that help deliver electricity to homes, businesses, and public spaces. These upgrades are important to keep the system running safely and to support future growth in our city.
Many of these projects are ongoing and may continue beyond this quarter. In some areas, residents and businesses may notice construction activity, utility crews, or traffic changes. ENMAX has shared that project schedules can change and that they work to keep the community informed when updates are needed.
These Q1 projects are part of ENMAX's continued investment in Ward 8. While not all work is easy to see, each project helps ensure a strong and dependable electricity system for everyone in the community.
