As we head towards the beautiful season of spring, I wanted to share a few tips and some useful information that might come in handy.

As City Council begins work on Calgary’s 2027–2030 Business Plans and Budgets, I want to make sure Ward 2 residents know how and when they can share their priorities. Public engagement is open from now until April 15, and this is an important opportunity for residents to provide input before the budget is finalized.

The City of Calgary’s rain barrel rebate program is returning in 2026 and is delivered through Green Calgary. Eligible households can receive a $50 rebate per rain barrel, up to a maximum of three barrels per household. Applications will be accepted from April 1 to October 31, 2026, or until available funding is fully allocated.
