In our latest Speaker Series, Dr. Khwezi Mbolekwa, Anti-Racism Organization Lead for the City of Calgary, gave our internal ARAC committee a presentation on the Journey of Becoming an Anti-Racism Leader.
In our latest Speaker Series, Shuana Porter explores unconscious bias. Shuana Porter is the Chief Executive Officer of Upper House Agency, and co-chair of the Calgary Police Service’s external Anti-Racism Action Committee. She is an organizational behaviour and culture consultant that creates policies and workshops with an anti-racism lens.
Anne Sureshkumar is employed with the non-profit organization Calgary Counselling Centre and is a member of the CPS ARAC Team. Anne’s areas of interest include Anti-Racism work, knowledge of racialized trauma, mental health, domestic violence, intersectionality, identity development for racialized and sexual minorities, research, public speaking and free-lance writing.
