Project Status Update (July 2026)
The Harvest Hills 96 project explored redevelopment opportunities for the City-owned parcel located at 9797 Harvest Hills Blvd NW.
Land Use Amendment application LOC2024-0215 was first considered by Council at the February 17, 2026 Public Hearing. Council referred the application back for further review and refinement.
A revised application was subsequently presented to Council at the June 23, 2026 Public Hearing.
Following consideration of the revised proposal, Council voted against the application.
As a result:
- The proposed mixed-use development will not proceed.
- No signicant changes are planned for the site.
- The parcel at 9797 Harvest Hills Blvd NW will remain in its current form for the foreseeable future.
What was considered
The proposal being considered by Council would have enabled a mixed-use redevelopment concept on a portion of the City-owned site, including housing opportunities and associated site improvements.
Following Council's decision on June 23, 2026, the proposal will not move forward.
Community participation
Residents, community members, stakeholders, and the Community Association participated throughout the review process by providing comments, attending engagement opportunities, and speaking at Public Hearings.
