Take to an electronics recycling drop-off
Take old and broken vacuums, floor and surface cleaners for free to an electronics recycling drop-off. You can also take these items to a City Eco Centre for free – if you bring with other garbage, charges will apply.

Special instructions
- Remove any vacuum dust from the cleaner before bringing it to a drop-off location.
- Do NOT put electronics in your blue cart as these items can damage the equipment at the recycling facility.
