Examples of lids and caps
- Yogurt and cottage cheese tub lids
- Margarine container lids
- Coffee cup lids
- Soft drink and fountain pop lids
- Dome lids
- Food can pull-off tab lids and cut-out lids like a tuna can
- Jar lids from jam, salsa etc.
- Beer caps
- Pop and bottle lids
- Milk caps
- Wine caps (including aluminum caps)
- Cannabis drink lid covers

Put into your blue cart or take to a community recycling depot
Put caps and lids:
- Into your blue cart for recycling
- Take to a community recycling depot
Special instructions
- Recycle metal lids separately from glass/plastic containers.
- Plastic lids can stay on empty plastic containers and bottle
- If you take your beverage containers directly back to a bottle depot, you can leave lids and caps on.
