Ogden Road Realignment

The realignment of Ogden Road S.E. between roughly the CN rail bridge and 69 Avenue S.E. is required to make room for the Green Line alignment, which will run between the realigned Ogden Road and the Canadian Pacific Kansas City rail line.

Throughout construction, parking and access to Pop Davies Athletic Park will be maintained, along with vehicle, pedestrian, and cyclist access along Ogden Road and Millican Road. The informal gravel parking along the west side of the current Ogden Road will be permanently removed as part of this work to make room for the new Ogden Road.

Scope of work

In addition to the road realignment, the scope of work includes installing a water mainline, storm and sewer lines, reconstructing a portion of Millican Road, adding multi-use pathways on both sides of Millican Road and along the west side of Ogden Road, adding a new gravel parking lot at the south end of Pop Davies Athletic Park that will include almost 100 new parking spots, landscaping, and more.
