Dexter’s Pet shop is a locally owned pet store committed to offering top quality products for all pets. With a focus on local and Canadian brands, Dexter’s values your pet’s health and believes in providing a varied range of food and more to meet all animals’ diverse needs.

Like all pet owners, Drew Brown, founder of Dexter’s Pet Shop, has always wanted the best for his dog Dexter, whose numerous food allergies require a specialized diet. After seeking advice from large chain pet stores and finding little useful information, Drew decided to take matters into his own hands and learn about the specialized topic of pet food.

With his newfound knowledge, Drew opened his own pet store, providing the Ogden community with high quality products and advice. As well, the famous Dexter is in the store every day to greet customers.

Apart from pet food products, Drew has worked hard to include an assortment of useful products in his store, as he explains, “We want to be a one-stop shop for everyone.” Dexter’s pet store also sells allergy test kits that will help owners identify their pet’s needs. Staff are also happy to direct customers to products that will work specifically for their pets.

Located near the future Green Line LRT Ogden Station, owner Drew Brown explains the importance of continuing to support local businesses in construction because they will be open everyday regardless.
