Located in downtown Calgary’s Victoria Park and East Village, Impact Boxing and Fitness is a high-quality boxing and fitness club that provides challenging and enjoyable workouts for everyone. If you’re shy about stepping into the ring, the crew of highly experienced trainers and coaches are eager to give clients of any skill level some quality training.

“There’s nothing to be nervous about, you have to take that chance to become something. You don’t have to be good all the time, you just have to be good at the right time,” says Luis Raposo, owner and head trainer.

Luis has over 20 years of experience in boxing and founded Impact on the basis of respect and integrity. He recognizes that the world of boxing can be intimidating to step into but knows the value of committed training – and he wants to share this unique experience with all Calgarians.

Classes are offered for every skill level and age category so that anyone can don some gloves and learn the ropes. Impact’s varied offering of training options includes an open gym, lunch-time classes, kids’ classes and technique and fighting classes.

Originally opened in 2002, Impact continues to expand their boxing and fitness programs throughout the city. Located near two future Green Line LRT stations, Impact’s modern and well-equipped facility as well as dedicated and experienced trainers will be accessible to even more Calgarians.

“Having the Green Line down here will be amazing, the more people that get down here, the happier we are,” explained Luis.
