Meet Kevin Hickman, the Superintendent for Priestly Demolition currently working on the Lilydale demolition in Ramsay as part of the Green Line LRT project’s Early Works construction.
To make way for the Green Line in Ramsay, Priestly Demolition has been brought on to complete the demolition of the former Lilydale Poultry Plant. Kevin Hickman is overseeing the demolition, ensuring that it is completed safely and efficiently.
Kevin Hickman is responsible for overseeing Priestly’s demolition projects across Western Canada, managing manpower and equipment, and working on the planning committee. He takes pride in devising unique demolition solutions that increase the safety and efficiency of Priestly’s demolition projects, while demonstrating exceptional environmental stewardship. For 30 years he has worked his way up from his first role as a laborer and enjoys the fulfilling work.
He is excited to be working on the Lilydale Demolition and has worked hard to minimize impacts of the work on the neighbouring community, ensuring dust and debris stays on the site, and keeping the area around the demolition works safe.
