The Glenmore Inn has been serving the communities of Southeast Calgary since it was established in 1978. It boasts an experienced staff that is dedicated to providing personalized service to each and every one of its guests.

General Manager of the Glenmore Inn, Perry Wilford, explains how important it is to get to know its clients. “We’ve been in the market for a really long time, and a lot of our staff have been here for two to three decades, so we really know our clients, and we really service them as a result of knowing them so well.” Not only does the Glenmore Inn offer a variety of amenities such as a pool and fitness centre, but it also has the capacity to host large events. It can accommodate weddings, meetings and host up to 1,200 guests with one of the largest ballrooms in Southeast Calgary.

The future Green Line station at Ogden will provide guests with the ability to travel through the city, with access to the Green Line just steps from the Glenmore Inn. Wilford says, “with a rapid access to downtown our guests are going to enjoy the ability to not have to rent a car and be able to experience the city through transit.” On top of offering great access to the hotel, the Green Line will also benefit the employees of the Glenmore Inn. Wilford says “our staff are going to benefit greatly from late night service to early morning service, it’s going to be so much easier for them to come and go from work.”

With its rich history and dedicated service to the community, the Glenmore Inn & Convention Centre looks toward the future. The convenient location of the future Green Line station at Ogden will not only enhance guest accessibility, but also benefit the staff working at the Glenmore Inn.
