About the station

Douglas Glen station is near the communities of Douglas Glen, Douglasdale and the Shepard commercial/industrial area. It is currently a transit hub for MAX Teal and local bus service and has a Park and Ride facility.

Improved pedestrian connections to safely cross Deerfoot Trail S.E. will provide another access point into the Douglasdale community. Upgraded sidewalks and multi-use pathways will improve walkability and cycling connections in the area.

Bicycle pathways linking to the Bow River Pathway will also have upgraded connections.

The existing Park and Ride will remain and will have upgraded station facilities, such as heated shelters.

The Douglas Glen Station serves the residential communities of Douglas Glen and Douglasdale, the Douglasdale Square Shopping Centre and the commercial/industrial area to the east. As a transit hub, riders can use MAX Teal to connect to Rockyview Hospital, Mount Royal University and Southcentre Mall.

Long-term vision

The station will continue to be a transit hub as MAX Teal extends east to 68 Street S.E. Similar to all Green Line stations, this investment will encourage new residential, commercial and retail development in the area.
