Take scrap metal to a City Eco Centre for metal recycling - charges will apply.
Private metal recycling

Take to a special drop-off location
Take scrap metal to a private metal recycler. Some private companies may buy scrap metal, charge a fee or accept items for free. Contact a metal recycler directly to find out what they accept. Options include:
Special instructions
Remove any propane tanks and take to a household hazard waste drop-off or Eco Centre for safe disposal.
