How to compost compostable bags
What are compostable bags?
When buying compostable bags, the bags will usually be tinted (green, brown etc.) and will have the certified compostable logo(s) printed directly on the bag.

Put into your green cart
Put only certified compostable bags into your green cart for composting.
Special instructions
- Tie your compostable bag to keep food from spilling by knotting at top or using natural fibre string to tie closed.
- Do not use elastics or twist ties as they are not compostable.
