What browser/device do I need to access The City of Calgary Employee Portal?
The City of Calgary Employee Portal is designed to be compatible with the following browsers and devices:
- Google Chrome version 86.0 and above
- Microsoft Edge (Chromium) version 86.0 and above
- Mozilla Firefox versions 82.0 and above
- Safari version 12.0 and above
- Apple iPhone Operating System version12.0 and above
- Android Operating System version 9.0 and above
Do I need to turn off pop-up blockers?
Yes. myHRconnect includes PDF “how to guides” and information. In order for these to open, your pop-up blocker must be turned off. This can be done by looking under Options in your browser settings.
In order to download resources, how to guides and frequently asked questions on the Employee Portal, you need a PDF reader. Portable Document Format (PDF) files are viewed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. PDF files provide the easiest way to view and print a document that looks as close to the original document as possible. A free copy of Acrobat Reader can be downloaded from Adobe's site.

If you are a City of Calgary Employee, for technical support call 403-268-8008. If you are not a City of Calgary Employee call 311 for support.
