The Community Profiles on Seniors have been created to meet the increasing demand for information on seniors, those age 65 and over, in Calgary. They contain the most recent data available (data from Statistics Canada's 2006 census and The City of Calgary's 2009 Civic Census) on various social issues that pertain to seniors in Calgary. This includes information on the senior population, their income, family status, social isolation, education, ethno cultural diversity, housing, disabilities, and more. Also included in each profile are links to services for seniors offered by the City of Calgary.
