Community Tree Ambassador Program
Ambassadors
The Community Tree Ambassador is a volunteer role, and ambassadors will be a part of their CA (or other community group such as HOA, RA, BIA). Ambassadors play an important role in promoting tree-related projects to help protect and grow the tree canopy in their community.
Community Tree Ambassadors work with The City’s Urban Forestry team and duties include organizing volunteer tree plantings, gathering community ideas for planting locations, submitting tree-related 311 service requests on behalf of the community, and sharing information to help raise awareness about trees.

Support
Community Tree Ambassadors receive training and education from Urban Forestry covering tree care fundamentals, 311 submissions, and tree-related bylaws. Urban Forestry also helps the community with volunteer projects like tree planting.
