Redstone Park Shade Structures

Two new shade structures will soon be built and installed in Redstone Park, creating a comfortable, welcoming gathering space for neighbours to relax, connect, and enjoy the outdoors together.

Pop-up event!

Wednesday July 8, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The project team will be in the park to provide information and answer any questions you may have about the new shelters as we begin construction.

Weather-dependent: in the case of severe weather the event may be postponed or cancelled.

Summer 2026 Update

On-site construction will begin late June/early July 2026 and last approximately four months, concluding at the end of October 2026. Crews will be working in the southwest quadrant of the park, and we anticipate minimal impacts to residents.
