Shaganappi Point bunker renovation
Project overview
Most golf courses refresh their bunkers every 15 to 20 years to improve drainage, update liners, and replace sand, all with the goal of enhancing playability and reducing maintenance challenges.
At Shaganappi, this milestone project refreshed all 51 bunkers, which previously covered about 65,000 square feet. The renovation successfully reduced the overall bunker area while preserving the course’s challenge, character, and visual appeal, resulting in a cleaner look and a better experience for golfers.
