96 Avenue N.E./Deerfoot Trail to Harvest Hills Boulevard

Study overview

The 96th Avenue N.E. transportation planning study was initiated to determine the alignment for the future roadway which will connect Deerfoot Trail to Harvest Hills Blvd. including a crossing of the CPR rail tracks. The roadway will service future development of the Aurora Business Park and provide a direct routing to the airport for communities west of Deerfoot Trail.​

Public engagement information

An information session was held on April 17, 2007 to the present the recommended roadway plan.

Construction timing

The preliminary engineering for the project is currently being completed.
The project is on The City's 10-year capital plan.

Study completion date

The project was approved at Council in November 2007.
