June-September: 4th Street Night Market
On Saturday June 20, July 18, August 22, September 19 between noon - 10 p.m., the right lane of 12 Ave S.W. will be closed between 2 & 4 St S.W.. There will be temporary transit stops in place nearby.

July 3-12: The Calgary Stampede
Around Stampede Park
There will be temporary traffic changes near Stampede Park throughout the event, including:
- Southbound on Stampede Tr S.E. (south of 12 Ave S.E.)
- Eastbound on 14 Ave S.E. (between Stampede Tr S.E. and 5A St S.E.)
- Northbound on 5A St S.E. (between 14 Ave S.E. and 12 Ave S.E.)
Drivers should expect increased congestion, changing access and higher parking demand, particularly around peak event times and evenings.
West Ramsay road closures
From Tuesday, June 30 to Monday, July 13, the following intersections are closed for access into west Ramsay:
- Maggie St and MacDonald Ave S.E.
- 11 Ave and 8 St S.E.
- 17 Ave and 8 St S.E.
- Margaret Ave and Spiller Rd S.E.
- Constance Ave and Spiller Rd S.E.
- 6 St and Spiller Rd S.E.
Residents who live west of the closed intersections will have vehicle access to their homes at two access points:
- Bellevue Ave and MacDonald Ave S.E.
- Burns Ave and Spiller Rd S.E
