Sign up for free collection reminders
Follow the steps below to get free waste reminders. You can even sign up your friends, family and neighbors to help everyone get their schedule.
There are two different ways to get your reminders:
1. Download the Calgary Garbage Day app
Add this handy mobile app to your phone and you’ll get regular notifications for your blue, green and black cart collection days.
Setting your notification day/time
To set when you receive your app notification, go to “More”, then “Notifications”. You will be able to confirm your address, time and whether the notification comes the day before or the day of pickup.
2. Get a reminder
- Type in your address below and click “Search”. Only addresses with City of Calgary residential cart collection will appear.
- Your pickup schedule will appear. Scroll down and click the “Get a Reminder” button.
- Choose your preferred reminder type (email, phone call etc) and follow the prompts.
