Volunteer with us

Why volunteer?
Want to meet new people, gain new skills and spend time getting active? Volunteering with our  community programs will provide all these benefits and more. You’ll have fun while feeling good about giving back to the community. We offer full training for all of our volunteer positions and there’s always the potential to turn a volunteer opportunity into a career path.

We frequently recruit volunteers for a wide range of positions. You could be doing anything from assisting with programs and lessons to participating in a Paint the Town event. We also recruit volunteers for community festivals and events.

Volunteer opportunities change each summer and different programs are added, so if you don't find an opportunity that interests you today, please check back later.

Paint the Town
By participating in the Seniors Services’ Paint the Town project, your company/organization commits to recruiting employee volunteers who will come out and spend a day painting the exterior of a senior's home and this may include; fences, garages, decks & railings, trim work (windows, doors, and gables), eves, soffits and fascia. Learn More.

Summer Volunteer Opportunities
(12 – 17 Y)
Assist staff in delivering exciting programs to children in our Park n’ Play programs, and special events throughout the summer. Play while you build on your experiences, develop your leadership skills and make a real difference in the life of a child. Programs run weekdays, typically Monday – Friday, between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  An Expression of Interest is accepted January to April. Information packages will be sent out March/April.  Mandatory training takes place in June.
