Do you have an inquiry?

What is a universal changeroom?

Universal change rooms are change rooms that are not gender-specific, but allow those who need a private space to use one rather than changing in front of others. Universal changerooms can accommodate a family, wheelchair users and attendants, or just individual users.

In addition to being an effective use of space, this style of locker room has other features:

  • Washrooms and showers remain segregated for males and females.
  • This design allows for greater safety and security of patrons. Parents can bring children of both sexes into the common room and still have a private cubicle.
  • It permits lifeguards and staff of either sex to supervise the change room.

This design meets the accessibility and accommodation requirements for everyone who will enjoy our facility.
