Calgary Stampede Parade accessible viewing zones
For the Calgary Stampede Parade, eight accessible viewing locations will be available along the parade route for people with mobility challenges, including those using canes, walkers, wheelchairs, or scooters, as well as their friends and family.
These designated viewing zones are located along the parade route to support safer, more comfortable viewing. Each zone will be sectioned off with barricades and clearly marked with signage. Accessible viewing zones are reserved for people with mobility challenges and their companions until 8:00 a.m. on Parade Day (Friday, July 3).
Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Arriving early is recommended to secure a space. A City of Calgary staff member will be on site at each location to help monitor the area.
Accessible viewing zone locations
Accessible viewing zones will be located on 6 & 9 Avenue S.W., in the following eight areas:

- 9 Ave: Centre St, 2 St S.W., 6 St S.W. and 9 St S.W.
