Appointed to the Board in 2014
Asad Chaudhary is a lawyer with experience in regulatory and administrative law as well as criminal prosecutions in the federal public sector. He also has an undergraduate degree in Engineering. Outside of professional life, Asad is a National Referee with Taekwondo Canada.

Jennifer Lewis is a professional engineer with TransCanada, where she has assisted in the management of multimillion-dollar projects over the past decade. She brings considerable experience in board governance through her time as a board member of her condo association, complemented by positions with the Alberta Utilities Commission and APEGA Environmental Committee. Ms. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Saskatchewan and is a certified Project Management Professional as well as a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Accredited Professional. Ms. Lewis was appointed to the LCSAB in 2018.

David Oldring is a born and raised Albertan. A former officer with the Calgary Police Service, he worked in several different sections involving community policing. Mr. Oldring has served and volunteered in many capacities with organizations within Calgary. He enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family and has an interest in woodworking and completing home improvements.
Rick Smith, Chair
Appointed to the Board in 2009
Rick Smith has 40 years of experience in the general insurance industry in both the company and broker sides of the business. Rick is a former member of Calgary City Council, Ward 9, where he served two terms. He served on a variety of Standing Policy Committees, with opportunities to serve as Chair, Vice-Chair, and Deputy Mayor on a rotating basis. Rick also served on a variety of special projects including planning and community service projects. Rick has served on several civic committees and organizations and continues to volunteer on several committees of community-based organizations. Rick has served as Chair of the Licence and Community Standards Appeal Board since 2010. Rick continues to play oldtimers hockey and curling.
Dylan Snowdon,Vice Chair
Appointed to the Board in 2010
Dylan Snowdon is a lawyer at a national firm practicing exclusively in management-side labour and employment law. He gained experience with administrative tribunals working as a case manager with a Province of Alberta board; and was appointed to the Licence and Community Standards Appeal Board in 2010. Mr. Snowdon has served as Vice Chair of the Board since 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
