Event Technical Services jobs

Work behind-the-scenes of the City's special events Event Technical Services jobs

The Event Technical Services (ETS) Department is a core component of the Festival and Events industry of the City of Calgary. Temporary event sites require vast amounts of infrastructure and efforts to erect tents, stages, and other festival equipment.

At ETS, we enjoy the actual work associated with event setup. You will have the opportunity to work outdoors while enjoying the beautiful weather and witnessing the transformation of venues throughout the day.

We are looking for people who understand that our work is not defined by punching in and out of a clock, but by ensuring the tasks are completed.  Should the last tent not be up, the work does not end — the team pulls together to ensure we all go home together. If your priority is to be an integral member of a team, this work is for you.

Join ETS to be part of Calgary's vibrant arts and culture scene. If you're passionate about bringing joy to Calgary and thrive in a hardworking community, we invite you to submit your resume.
