South Glenmore Park in Calgary's southwest is the area surrounding the south side of the Glenmore Reservoir which includes the Weaselhead Natural Area and has numerous trails and pathways, tennis courts, playgrounds and the Variety Spray Park.
Caragana removal is occurring in South Glenmore Park to increase the biodiversity of existing native tree stands.
Note: The fenced portion in Variety Park (that includes the playground, washrooms and spray park area) will be closed until mid June for playground construction. Portable washrooms will be on-site for public use.

About the park
South Glenmore Park is the area surrounding the south side of the reservoir which includes the Weaselhead Natural Area.
South Glenmore Park is also home to the Variety Children's Park, a playground and water park that is accessible to disabled children. South Glenmore also houses the Glenmore Sailing School.
Proposed Quinterra Legacy Garden Project
A group of community members is proposing the development of a new musical garden, complete with new trees and vegetation, green spaces, a small community multiuse stage and outdoor instruments near the existing Variety Park location. In-person engagement will be held at the Oakridge Community Centre on May 23 from 5:30 to 8 p.m., and online engagement will run for two weeks.
