Glenmore Athletic Park is located in southwest Calgary at 5300 19 St. S.W. next to Lakeview Golf Course, Stu Peppard Arena and Glenmore Aquatic & Fitness Centre. It has seven sports fields and tennis courts, three ball diamonds, a velodrome and a ‘Class A’ 400-meter track and field facility

Track & field area and running track

This area includes space for a variety of track & field activities, including:

  • A 400 m running track
  • Long/triple jump pits
  • High jump area
  • Spaces for pole vault, discus, javelin and shotput

Tennis courts

Play a game of  tennis on one of our seven public courts.

Tennis courts are free for drop-in use. The courts can be reserved for a fee.

Soccer fields

Book one of our four regulation (100 m x 59 m) grass soccer fields for your leagues or practices. Glenmore soccer fields include:

  • One lit field 
  • Three unlit fields
  • Lines and nets for soccer games
  • Bleachers

We have two grass football fields for your leagues or practices. Glenmore football fields include:

  • One lit field for touch football
  • One unlit field for flag football
  • Lines and goalposts for football games

Ball diamonds

Book one of our three ball diamonds for your baseball or softball games and practices. The ball diamonds have:

  • Pitcher's mound (59' or 50' from home plate)
  • 89' or 65' baseline distance
  • Foul lines
  • Dugouts

The velodrome is a 400m banked oval outdoor track for cycling, training and racing.
