Repair work on the broken pipe is progressing well. The damaged section has been removed, and the new pipe is now in place and welded. Crews are backfilling the area and will then start repairing the road above the pipe once we complete all the critical steps to restore water service.

Once testing confirms the water is safe, crews will begin refilling the pipe. Increasing flow carries risk, and the system is being closely monitored throughout this stage. The final pump is scheduled to be activated on Friday morning if the pipe continues to remain stable. It takes about 24 hours to stabilize the system before advancing to each subsequent phase.

This morning, the final pump at the Bearspaw Water Treatment Plant was activated, increasing flow through the feeder main. The system remains stable based on ongoing monitoring. All water restrictions are now lifted, effective immediately.
