Local business feature - Ramsay Hair Salon

Since their opening in October 2022, Ramsay Hair Salon has been providing the community of Ramsay with high-quality hair services. The salon is locally owned and operated by husband and wife, Trevor Lenehan and Thi Vo and is located at the entrance of the Ramsay community on 1024 Maggie Street S.E., just off of MacDonald Avenue.

“All the people in Ramsay have been so kind and welcoming to us,” said Thi.

Thi provides high quality services that are personally tailored to each customer, including hair styling, cuts, colour and other hair treatments.

“Our salon is small, but we provide high quality, good services for our clients,” explained Thi.

Since recently relocating to Calgary from Regina, Trevor and Thi chose to settle in the community of Ramsay to raise their family and open their business. With 13 years of experience, Thi is the lead stylist, and her husband, Trevor, manages the behind the scenes of the salon.

“We chose the community of Ramsay to be located in the inner city, a place where there are amenities easily accessible and for people to walk, take public transit, and long term, this felt like a great place to be,” shared Trevor. 

The Ramsay Hair Salon will be close to the future Green Line Ramsay/Inglewood station, and Thi and Trevor believe this will make their business more accessible for everyone, while facilitating sustainable growth within the community and for all area businesses.
