Pumphouse Park

Pumphouse Park

Pumphouse Park is a riverside park along the Bow River that offers open green space, pathways and places to gather. It is a well-used destination that supports recreation, relaxation and everyday community connection.

About the park

Pumphouse park is located beside the historic Calgary waterworks pumphouse, which originally helped supply water to the growing city in the early 1900s. Over time, the surrounding area evolved into a public riverside space, creating a place for recreation while preserving ties to Calgary’s industrial history.
