Established in 2012, the Foundation consolidates and strengthens the club’s many charitable endeavours, enabling the organization to build upon its long-standing commitment to the community.
The Stampeders Foundation is centered upon the support of amateur and grassroots football in Calgary and southern Alberta communities, while also supporting a number of health and education initiatives through player involvement and in-game programming.
Timeline
While detailed design and construction planning is still underway, the anticipated timeline is:
- 2025–2026: Design development
- Spring/Summer 2026: Construction begins
- 2026–2027: Phased opening of fields
- Two fields are anticipated to be available for use in late 2026, construction dependent
- The third field is anticipated to be available for use in 2027
While formal public engagement is not planned due to the project’s fixed scope and alignment with GamePlan and Connect: Calgary’s Parks Plan policies, the City is committed to proactive communication with community members.
