East Calgary multi-services facility

East Calgary Truck Maintenance and Storage Facility

Expanding City Infrastructure to meet the growing service needs of Calgarians

About the project

The City is upgrading and expanding an aging maintenance facility that provides service for the Waste and Recycling Fleet.

The improved building will provide necessary space, expand capacity, improve city efficiencies and enhance worker safety to continue to manage and service an expanding fleet needed to serve a growing city for decades to come.

The building is located on eight acres on the east edges of the city, near the East Calgary Landfill, at 1827–68 Street SE.

The project is currently in the design phase. Construction dates have not been confirmed yet.

The site will remain operational during construction through temporary facilities and not disrupt traffic to neighbouring areas.
