All ages can enjoy our full-size gymnasium. It has hardwood floors that have been marked for our basketball and badminton courts.
Bring your own equipment or rent from customer service.

What activities can be done in the gym?
Activities Allowed:
- Badminton – Customer can rent a racquet for $2.50 or buy a birdie for $1.50.
- Indoor Soccer – Customer must bring own soccer balls.
- Basketball – Customer must bring own balls or rent for $2.50.
- Nerf Guns – Customer must provide/wear protective eye wear.
Activities Not Allowed:
- Drones
- Volleyball – No nets/poles
- Cricket
- External instructors - We do not permit external instructors teaching during any of our public drop-in times. Those suspected of providing instruction will be asked to stop, including behaviours like:
- Showing or explaining specific skills to others.
- Providing feedback and correction to others for a specific skill.
- Assisting a player with technique.
- Writing and/or designing a lesson plan for others.
What fits in a ½ gym?
- Full basketball court
- 4 badminton or 2 badminton nets and 2 pickleball courts
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
Nets are provided and set up by staff. Customer must bring or rent equipment, e.g., Balls, racquets.
Rental rates
*Prime time hours: Monday to Friday, 4 p.m. to close and all day weekends/stat holidays.
Non-Prime time hours: Monday to Friday, open to 4 p.m.

A $5.75 risk management fee is applied to each permit.

Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 8:30 a.m.

To request a booking
- For five or less dates call 403-268-3800, option 2 (Mon. - Fri. 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.). or use the online application.
- For more than five dates, use the online application.
It takes up to five business days to process the application. You will receive notification of the outcome of your application by email.
To cancel a booking
If you wish to cancel or amend your booking, we must be notified at least 30 days prior to the day of your booking. A $10.50 administration fee applies. Changes to a booking with less than 30 days' notice are not eligible for a refund.
