Put all types of dried and fresh spices, herbs, bark and roots in your green cart for composting.

This includes:

  • Ginger (candied, raw)
  • Poppy seeds
  • Sesame seeds
  • Cocoa nibs
  • Caraway seeds
  • Chicory root
  • Chiles and chili powder
  • Pepper
  • Salts

Special instructions

  • Loose spice flakes must be put in a certified compostable bag or paper bag and tied closed/rolled closed before composting.
