This team supports many City services. These include emergency response, transit, recreation, and building operations. What you’ll do here

In warehousing and inventory roles, you support City services behind the scenes. Your work helps City teams serve Calgarians. Team members may:

  • Work with City business units to understand what materials are needed and when
  • Receive, store, track, and deliver goods safely and accurately
  • Monitor inventory to avoid shortages or extra stock
  • Support key City services, including emergency response, transit, mobility, the Calgary Police Service (CPS), the Calgary Fire Department (CFD), Waste & Recycling Services (WRS), parks, recreation, fleet operations, and facility maintenance
  • Help manage surplus items through reuse, resale, or recycling programs
  • Support responsible use of public funds through good inventory planning and control
