Fall in Love with Your New Best Friend: Dog Adoption Fees Reduced This November!
Big hearts come with wagging tails. This November, the City of Calgary’s Animal Services Centre is making it easier than ever to bring home your new canine companion with reduced adoption fees for dogs all month long.
Dog adoption fee:
$100 + GST (regularly $225 + GST)
Every dog adopted from Animal Services is:
- Spayed or neutered
- Vaccinated and health-checked
- Microchipped for safety
- Comes with a one-year City of Calgary dog license
That means your new best friend is ready to start their next chapter — healthy, safe, and fully licensed to explore Calgary by your side.
How much does it cost?
The adoption cost is $225 + GST, which covers:
- spay or neutering surgery
- microchip implant for identification
- a six-month City of Calgary licence
- first set of vaccinations
- de-worming
- a bag of pet food
- an adoption kit
Please note: adoptable animals are not available for adoption of viewing in the hour before the Centre closes. The list is updated every 15 minutes during business hours.
