Organize a National Play Day event
Anyone can organize a National Play Day event. Big or small, there are lots of different ways to celebrate. All events are to be held on August 5, 2020.
Here are some tips for organizing your National Play Day event:
- Get messy. Use shaving foam, clay, corn flour and water, eggs slime and gunge to fill padding pools, pits, buckets and baths.
- Get adventurous. Construct climbing walls and an obstacle course, run circus skills workshops, organize a treasure hunt and race shopping trolleys.
- Get Building. Use straw bales, tires, shoeboxes, newspapers and junk to build dens, towers, bridges, go-karts and monsters.
- Play with the elements. Use fire, water, earth and wind. Build a leaf or mud pit, have water fights, toast marshmallows and create a wind tunnel.
