Calgary 9-1-1 is the first point of contact in an emergency. We serve as the critical link between citizens and the emergency support they need, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

  • Emergency calls

    Call 9-1-1 when there is a threat to your health, safety or property and you need immediate assistance from police, fire or an ambulance.

  • Non-emergency calls

    If you need help but it's not an emergency, please do not call 9-1-1. There are many resources to help you.

  • 9-1-1 call tips

    When you call 9-1-1, the Emergency Communications Officer will ask questions to get you the help you need.
