Grand opening of Rocky Ridge Athletic Park in northwest Calgary

Calgary’s northwest is growing and so is its access to high-quality recreation. The City of Calgary has just completed construction of Rocky Ridge Athletic Park, a $26 million investment that will add two new artificial turf sports fields and supporting amenities to meet increasing demand for bookable playfields. Mayor Jeromy Farkas and representatives from The City of Calgary and the local sports community will officially celebrate the opening of the athletic park and speak about the importance of equitable access to recreational infrastructure.
