Building relationships

Memoranda of Understanding

The City is committed to building respectful and collaborative relationships with Indigenous Peoples. As part of this commitment, we have entered, and are in the process of further entering, into Memoranda of Understandings (MOU) with Indigenous Nations throughout southern Alberta.

MOUs reflect a shared recognition of economic opportunities between The City and First Nations, and a commitment to Truth and Reconciliation, trust, and understanding.
