City of Calgary cannabis store locations

Locations of Cannabis Stores are governed by the Land Use Bylaw 1P2007 (“LUB”), as amended. A discretionary Development Permit approval is required prior to operating a Cannabis Store, as well as many other requirements. Council has passed all LUB amendments placing this use in certain districts represented on the map. DC districts may need to undergo a land use re-designation before Council for the use to be added to that district.

This Map provides a visual representation of some, but not all, of the set-backs required in the LUB and Provincial Regulations for Cannabis Stores. The Map may not be used to produce accurate measurements.

Periodically the Map will update with status of decided applications. Approval by a Development Authority is not guaranteed and may be appealed. This map may not be reliable for the actual status of any given application.
