Pathway maintenance and management

The City is responsible for the planning, design, constructio​n, maintenance and programming of Calgary's growing pedestrian and bike path system. We currently maintain approximately 800 kilometres of pathways throughout the City. Calgary has the largest urban bike path system in North America and our pathways are one of the most popular services provided by the City.

Using our pathways?

Before you set out, make sure to keep up to date on current bike path closures in and around the city. Is it snowing?
