Safe and sound

Enhanced public safety for the benefit of all Calgarians

A safe community is built on strong partnerships, smart investments, and a shared commitment to protecting one another. Through collaboration with local organizations, emergency services, and community leaders, we’re making Calgary safer and more resilient.

Investments in public safety initiatives are delivering real results—backed by data that shows progress, report cards that track improvements, and stories from Calgarians whose lives have been positively impacted.

Whether it’s safer streets, emergency preparedness, or community-driven programs, we’re working together to build a city where everyone feels secure and supported—today and for the future.
