Registration begins at:
- 6 a.m. — Online (virtual waiting room opens at 5:30 a.m.)
- 8:30 a.m. — By calling the Customer Service Centre during operating hours at 403-268-3800 (option 1)
- During business hours — At any City-operated Aquatic & Recreation or Arts facility

We have Try It classes in fitness, yoga, martial arts, programs for people with dementia and more. Get active and find your next favourite activity for only $2 per class.

Classes are always fresh and engaging, and they will help you reach your goals whether you are trying something for the first time or building on existing skills.
What are Try It classes and lessons like?
These fun, welcoming and low-pressure opportunities allow you to try something new. Each class is a shortened, sample version of one of our regular programs.
Our try it classes and lessons are beginner friendly and are designed to give you a feel for the activities, instructors and environment in one class.
Come prepared
- Comfortable clothing
- Indoor, clean footwear (depending on activity)
- Water bottle
- Any personal items depending on the class (Yoga mat)
