5 Ave S.E. Flyover to Memorial Drive N.E. Merge Lane Extension
Project overview
This summer, we are extending the eastbound merge land from the 5 Ave S.E. flyover onto Memorial Drive by about 400 metres. Once complete, you’ll move through the area more smoothly during busy periods.

We know construction affects your daily travel. We are working to keep you moving and reduce disruption where we can.

Off-peak work schedule
Most of the work takes place during daytime hours, and work will pause during Stampede (July 3–12) to keep disruption to a minimum.

- Noise and dust at times
- Some night time work required
