Manitou Road Local Drainage Improvement Project

Project Background

As part of The City’s Local Drainage Improvements (LDI) Program, we are working to improve the stormwater system in the Manitou Rd. S.E. area to improve the stormwater system to alleviate excessive pooling and flooding that can happen.

Project Details

At Manitou Rd S.E., during storms, flooding and pooling are common. This project work will upgrade the existing storm infrastructure with the installation of manholes, backflow prevention valves and raising driveways to reduce pooling and flooding issues.
