During water main repairs, pools and arenas remain open. To reduce our water usage by 25%, we are closing hot tubs and steam rooms. Further actions include closing showers at arenas, athletic parks and the Calgary Soccer Centre, not using City drinking water for flooding and resurfacing our arenas and turning off irrigation for the season.

Dive Tank - Village Square Leisure Centre

Village Square Leisure Centre Dive Tank

Our dive tank is a chlorine pool that is 3.65 meters (12 feet) deep with a 1-meter high springboard diving board. Our chlorine dive tank has an average water temperature of 28.5 degrees Celsius.

The dive tank is also home to a 70 meter (230 foot) long slide.

Information Upcoming preventative maintenance and cleaning

Village Square Leisure Centre will be closed beginning Sept. 3 for annual preventative maintenance and cleaning.

Weight room will reopen Sept. 7
Fitness centre and multipurpose rooms will reopen Sept. 9
Pool and steam room will remain closed until early October

Find an open Aquatic and Fitness Centre

The pool and weight rooms can be used without an appointment. Group fitness requires an appointment.
