Community of Practice: Youth mental health in schools and the community

We’ll explore local research led by Dr. Paul Arnold at The Mathison Centre, in collaboration with the Calgary Board of Education, Werklund School of Education, and Converge Mental Health Coalition. This work focuses on creating a framework for standardized mental health interventions to support students.
You’ll also hear updates from community partners on emerging initiatives and lessons learned to improve youth well-being.
This session is designed for school networks and youth-serving organizations interested in research and programs that enhance access to care and support better mental health outcomes for youth.

It supports Action #7 of the Strategy: Build capacity of local organizations to meet the mental health and addiction needs in the community through convening around common actions.
